'The Traitors' Fans: Rejoice! We Are Getting More Seasons!

'The Traitors US' is back for more!
The Traitors US season 2 c/o Peacock

Peacock is blessing us with not just one, but TWO more seasons of the absolute gem of a show that is The Traitors, hosted by the unbelievably stylish Alan Cumming, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

It is literally one of the most captivating competition shows on television and if you have not seen it yet - well, then I am kind of jealous, because you can log onto Peacock and experience seasons 1 and 2 for the very first time.

The second season earned four Emmy nominations — including best reality competition program and outstanding host for a reality show. And Cumming deserves that, for real. I've since watched other country's iterations, and while they are mostly all juicy, and the hosts are all great, no one holds a candle to Cumming IMHO.

The show secretly selects a few cast members to be "traitors," who have to "murder" fellow contestants every night. The real drama though, comes from the round tables every night, where the "faithfuls" — AKA non-traitors — have the opportunity to vote out a traitor, therefore securing their share of the big money pot at the end. Of course, not everyone is a natural-born detective and they don't always vote out the actual traitors — hence the fun!

In its second season — which featured famous reality TV personalities like Johnny Bananas and C.T. from The Challenge, icons Dan Gheesling and Janelle Pierzina from Big Brother, Phaedra Parks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and the stunningly stylish Peppermint from RuPaul's Drag RaceThe Traitors became the most-watched unscripted streaming show in the U.S. for its premiere week. Then, it spent five weeks atop the Nielsen's ranking for original streaming shows.

This is great news for the reality TV obsessed, like moi, and TBH anyone else with good taste. I am telling you, you do not want to sleep on this show.
