The Strangers: Chapter 1 follows a young couple (Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez) who are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin After their car breaks down in an eerie small town. Panic ensues as they are terrorized by three masked strangers who strike with no mercy and seemingly no motive in The Strangers ― Chapter 1, the chilling first entry of this upcoming horror feature film series.
The Strangers: Chapter 1, directed by Renny Harlin, also stars Gabriel Basso and Ema Horvath, with a screenplay by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland, and story by Bryan Bertino. It is, of course, based on The Strangers written by Bryan Bertino, and was produced by Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Christopher Milburn, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek.
