Become The Star Of Your Own Horror Movie In 'Delusion: The Red Castle'

Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the world’s largest Halloween-themed entertainment company, announced the highly-anticipated return of the hit attraction, Delusion. Known as the vanguard of immersive theater experiences, Delusion has been captivating guests since 2011 with its unique storytelling in which the audience helps move the narrative forward. The adventure will return with an all-new location and storyline at the historic Stimson House in the heart of Los Angeles. 

Running from September 20th through November 3rd on select nights, guests will become key players in a sinister and entangled hour-long escapade. Tickets for Delusion: The Red Castle will go on sale Friday, August 16th, with tickets starting at $109.99 including fees on select nights. Editor's note: This is one of my all-time favorite immersive experiences. You really feel like you are stepping into your own horror movie. I had a creepy a** doll address me by name, and I had to carry it around for a bit, following its directions. One particular stunt in a cemetery was so surprising and well-executed, I nearly jumped out of my skin.

“How cool is it that I can sit here and write a haunting story and imagine thousands of people helping to bring it to life this fall?” said Creator of Delusion, Jon Braver. “They don’t know what they’re in for, this story and its characters are EPIC! This season’s story, Delusion: The Red Castle,” takes place in the mid-20th Century, centering around the brilliant psychologist Dr. Frederick Lowell and you, his cohort of unusual patients. Otherworldly yet dormant abilities lie within your minds, and only Dr. Lowell has the key to unlock them.

Having been banished from his community due to his unorthodox methods, Lowell and his family fled, along with his most prized patients, to find refuge inside a strange and abandoned castle. However, soon after, tragedy struck, and Lowell’s wife Attie fell from the castle and plummeted to an early death. Plagued with torment from the demise of his wife, Lowell spirals down the dark path of resurrection, swallowing his former patients into his tragic pursuit. Now, Lowell believes it’s up to his prized patients and their unlocked abilities to help bring his greatest love back to life. Yet, resurrection rarely ends well. 

This year's event will also showcase an array of on-site dining and beverage choices at this all-new location.
