13 Of The Best Amanda Knox Podcast Episodes

There are likely few who don’t know the answer to the question, “Who is Amanda Knox?” However, hearing about the Amanda Knox case in the media is certainly not the same as hearing about it from former FBI profilers, psychic mediums, or Knox herself. This is a list of the best Amanda Knox podcast episodes discussing her trial in Italy, as well as the death of her roommate, Meredith Kercher.

Is Amanda Knox guilty? When news first broke, the media (and Italian police) were ready to answer, “Yes.” However, that’s not the full, true Amanda Knox crime story. Now, this list isn’t about the Amanda Knox true crime podcast, The Truth About True Crime with Amanda Knox, or her Labyrinths podcast. These are the best and most highly-rated episodes of podcasts about Amanda Knox. Some focus on documentaries, like Netflix’s Amanda Knox, or even scripted coverage of the case, like in Lifetime’s Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy. These also discuss Knox’s boyfriend at the time, Raffaele Sollecito.

Some of these podcasts focus on Knox herself, while others work more to shine a light on the victim, Meredith Kercher. The below are arranged in order of votes received on Ranker.com.

1. Crime Junkie

Ashley says you've likely formed your own opinions on Amanda Knox, but aims to set the record straight on who she really is. She even inserts clips from an interview with Knox, which can be listened to if you are a part of Crime Junkie's "Fan Club."

Length: 19:28

amanda knox podcast

Episode: 36: "Amanda Knox"

Episode summary: Knox's case was splashed across tabloids throughout the world, earning her the nickname "Foxy Knoxy," for her good looks, and because she was often spotted with Italian boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito. The real story behind one of Italy's biggest cases might surprise you. Was this just another botched investigation, or were the prosecution and the media more concerned with salacious stories than facts and concrete evidence?

amanda knox podcast

Length: 71:38

12. Killer Queens

amanda knox podcast

Episode: 88: "Amanda Knox"

Episode summary: This case has been done by so many podcasts, so it's hard to have an original take on it at this point. However, Tyrella and Tori give it a bit of a twist by breaking down their thoughts on the Netflix documentary, Amanda Knox. They also talk about the Italian justice system, and how in Italy, since the judge knows all of the evidence before the defense and defendant, they have likely made up their mind before the trial even begins. This was clearly a fundamental issue with the Knox case - and one of the things that made it so terrifying.

Length: 97:48
